hi i just recieved some oficial fiat wind deflectors and they dont fit properly. i go to put the window up and it gets stuck on the deflector:bang:. has anyone else had this problem???

you have parked there before then you could try a thin smear of trim care on the rubbers and edge of the deflectors to help free it up (dont use too much as it will end up all over the glass)
Can somebody measure the length of their wind deflector on a 3 door.
Reason I ask is that I bought a set on ebay, genuine fiat ones, but a question was asked to the seller if it was for a 3 door or 5 door, and he is unsure.
He has measured the wind deflector as 35 Inches( not sure if this is the complete length, or the fitting part). The window on the 3 door from the top of the glass edge to edge is around 38 inches.
This should hopefully confirm if they are for a 3 door or 5 door.

I just came back from fiat without my wind deflectors( fiat ones) on! They tryed to put them on but they had the same proble as yours. Did yours came with any clips so they can stay away from the window? Mine didn't. I left them there and my dealer said that he will order new ones, just in case those were wrong.:bang:

yea thats what i need because the drivers window gets stook up with them on and the passengers window hits the wind deflector so the window doesnt go up so i have to push it in so i took them off because i have front tints aswell so i dont want the tint ripping off but i will try the rubber shine trick cheers andy

i only paid £25 for mine and thats including postage
but just want them to fit and not rip off my front tints

ok where do it put the rubber shine? do i put it on all the door rubbers or just in spots?
i'd pop the wind deflectors out and rub a small amount where the window will make contact with it

hello my friend.long time no see! i took mine of days ago because the glass had a hard time moving. wind deflectors slow down the glass mechanism big time and because i didn't want any problems with it i took them of.no clips with them what so ever.
