ok, so ive finally received my wind deflectors which i bought on ebay for 13 quid. however the guy has not supplied a fitting tool, is this nessecary?

and how easy are they to fit? do they not fall out when the window is open?

cheers

You don't need a fitting tool they should just fit straight in just squeeze them in. they don't fall out, however my passenger one has to be pushed out before window can be closed as it gets jammed

No i dont think mine are the team heko one's not too sure.. yeah you'll probably need double sided tape, mine came with the tinyest bit on it which i think is holding my driver side one in but i think its come off the passenger one thats why its not holding up - as people find it funny to pull them out! :)

I need to put some more recent pics on.. I have the wind deflectors on, and I've vinyled the front and put in a badgeless grill then I'm getting the badge took off the boot and smoothed out and buying some black alloys for it hopefully next week :D then when I have the money its getting remapped.. your plans? :)

already got sum 17@ alloys, debadged 'punto' from boot, vinyled front, painted calipers. used to have a k&n but took it off before service....not gonna bother puttin it back on!

id love sum angel eyes (spotted sum on OLZ car which is for sale on here) and they look smart, specially if you put a nice HID kit in there! and love to lower but money tight, especially with cost of petrol! do the wind deflectors look good! mine are smok tinted however my windows arnt. will it look daft?

Done quite a lot then :).. ive put a more recent pic up now. yeah i'm thinking about getting angel eyes too because my sister has a corsa D with angel eyes and it just makes the car really so, plus Im going with a yellow and black theme :) yeah mine costs a bomb in diesel because I'm out all the time, plus had a disaster the other day put petrol in instead of diesel haha !.. no i dont think they'll look daft, i did get mine tho to match with tinted roof and windows.. but i still think they will look good!

Corsa D's are FIT!!! what colour she got? i saw them lights a bit ago on a corsa, not too expensive to say its a new car either. bout 200?

Yeah ive dun abit, it gets quite addictive once you star!!! thanks for your advice any way! ill have a look at your car now. im jealous cos youve got colour coded handles

She's got a black one and she's got the badgeless grill on front as well its on my little avatar thing there but you can hardly see it << lol

i know im getting addicted to it now haha ! too much money.
ohh i'd die if i had black handles on a yellow car!! id paint them haha :)

No1 gone for the Fiat ones? Sounds like any others are a blag. Double sided tape?

Fiat ones fit in easy and windows still shut like they're not even on

They were second hand mate, not bad condition! just needed a good clean and i applied some double sided tape, fit like a treat and when the glue set they wernt goin no where!!!

Keep your eyes peeled for a bargain, couldnt believe that i was the only person who bid on them!!!!

My K&N 57i is on ebay at mo by the way, £20 startin price!!! check it out!!

i paid £32 with postage for some of ebay(none gen) and they are really good. the only think iv done is at the rear of the deflectors on the lip that goes up behind the window rubber, iv put a little bit of silicone sealer with holds the deflector to the rubber so when you lift the window up the deflector moves back out the way with rubber:)

i have oem fiat wind deflectors on my mjet and cost me £31.45. great buy and fitted no problem without the need of double sided tape.
