They are higher on the screen see the video's in my guide they are done when parked

very fast service from Shop4parts i Phoned my order on Friday afternoon last week (they didnt have them in stock so had to order them in) and they came in the post today :slayer:

Must have been a very laid back 9 years by fiat ;)

Just wish they had done a bit more and made them adjustable like Fords are where you use a pin to move the jet up down left or right...

But i think the screen wash bottle will last much longer now as you dont need to flood the screen to clean it

Yes adjustable would have been the best.

My first Punto (Mk2) was adjustable with a screw on the side of nozzle.

I'll will order two to start, but if they works like yours, I would be more than happy !

Nice!!!!! :)
Thanks "Boss" for testing :D I_will_order_it :D

I thought it will be better but you confirmed that ;)

Orderd my new jets and received, installation this weekend !

I keep you informed ;)

if you take care you wont need the clips ;)
It's just to be safe, I don't want to re order, take time to go another time to my dealer to pickup them and re disassamble all...

On an old GP I broke one, because after 6 years between -20° and +50°C at sun plastic is more brittle.

But as you say, should be ok with my 2 years old Punto :)

Get a hose in the bonnet through the holes in the inner skin where the scuttle clips water should help lubricate them... Don't forget to undo the 2 nuts ;)

Changed my jets ! Works a lot better. Not perfect, but far acceptable.

Broken a clip :/... because I pull to hard on. Best to shake the black plate when pulling (see Andy vids, works great).

Easy and quick to change. A must for every GP - Evo - 2012+ until end 2013.

Thanks again szasz for info and Andy for your work.

You are welcome :)
I'm happy to read that!
By the way... why not perfect? What is your concern?

Not perfect because they are not adjustable. The driver side is quite good, passenger too low.

The other default is by design of this car windshield and the position of washer jets.
The angle of "attack" is very close, so they are very influenced with air and speed: driving low jet go on the roof, too fast jet is on the base of windshield / in the arm of the wiper.

With a "classical old" position on the bonnet (more distance to the windshield) the angle is more open, and efficient cleaning can be operated over a wider speed range.

They designed a new washer with a jet style because a jet is less influence than a mist by the wind flow, but the base problem is still the position.

Yes I put a little piece of adhesive rubber... that was already glued there :) As my car is from year 2012, I think Fiat already know about this problem an put this on. Or it's factory on all ? I forgot to take a pic :/

But it's not sufficient, I need something higher.

already glued? By factory default? :-o Where?
I see your concern about that and you're right. So if I understand well, your problem is only with the passenger side, isn't it?

Another thing:
I did some modification regarning my read washer... I put an anti drainback/one-way valve between the pump and the rear tube. It's perfect ;) I can spray the rear window instantly... don't have to wait a while till the pump spray through... and use this dry for a while.
