FT??

With the adjustable actuator you can hold much more pressure @ high revs that can give you a much more impressive horsepower diagram, although my main concern is how much it affects turbo life...

Right dad just took the punto out and its running 12psi max on when it peaks, i think it is quite poor when reaper x runs 1.4 bar, which is like 20psi plus lol, and i have had a remap and its still running the same boost that it ran before, which was 11psi, should i go back to red-dot or go somewhere eles? AMD?
Heres a few picks of the fog light modification :)
thanks ben

Yeah,only cams are different.

Don't know what's wrong with ben's tjet..

Here in Greece there are many tjets with vl36 running @1.5bar overboost with the original actuator.

Ben have you checked the actuator's spring??
If it's too light, then the car can't hold boost.

Wonder if they are getting 1.5bar from the vl36 because they are using 100RON fuel in Greece !Fiat say you get 1.3 bar for the Abarth (vl36)and 1.5 bar for the Essesse Garrett ! The vl37 runs 1.0bar making me think that Ben's adjustable actuator was designed to replaice the standard vl37 t-jet item :)

It's not only how much you get,but where you get it (rpm) and for how long (rpm range).

Actuator won't help you increase your overboost. You can get much more than 1,5bar with the stock one at low rpms, but it helps you hold more boost at high rev range.

Hi there guys, ben only lives down the road from me and him and i are good friends . And i have the sensors on my car . And it made a massive and very noticable difference I have the part numbers for the three of them if anyone needs them . But i would suggest getting them as they help to hold the boost for longer and the pick up of the boost when goin into the next gear is so much smoother and better !! It's a must need i think !

Mind posting up the part numbers then? I was thinking of getting the actuator to turn up my boost a little bit but after reading this thread I guess the sensors are a better option.

If I don't get the actuator and get the sensors should I still look into getting a stiffer spring? Anyone know?

what psi of boost are you running at the moment then ?

Has anyone tried fitting the two sensors 55206797,55209194 and boost regulation valve 55212397 on a standard t-jet with vl37 turbo or unchipped vl36 equiped car ? Also is the boost regulation valve mechanical or controled by the ecu ? :)
