English Grammar lesson for Mr Knowledgeable Punto_Matt - CORRECTIONS IN RED AND MISTAKES/BAD GRAMMAR UNDERLINED AND IN BOLD TYPE.
1) I have no problem helping people on here if they are capable of typing properly and searching for what they needed(need). But when that (the) poster cant (cannot) even put in full stops and commas to make a sentence that makes sense (then) why should i bother to tell them what they want to know if they arent (cannot be) bothered to type properly?(!) They could of (have) also searched the section and it would of (have) bought up plenty of threads already on HIDs telling them what they needed (need) to know.
2) Where have i said (that) i am better than them? I havent. (have not)
3) Yeah (Yes), (comma) i was new once, but i searched and found out the answers that i needed,. if (capital I) i couldn’t (could not) find then (the answer, then) i would ask and i also managed to speak (are you talking then?) in proper english. (capital E) - BUT NOT WRITE IN PROPER ENGLISH!!!
4) When you sign up its(it is) in the forum rules to talk (type) properly. You have a full keyboard in front of you, (so there is) no reason to shorten words.
5) Talk (Type) properly and contruct (construct) sentences that make sense to people other than yourself and i wont need to be an arsehole to you. - PROMISE!
I could go on....
The point of this thread is to illustrate that some people are just not as clever as Mr Punto_Matt.
We all share a common interest and people should not be judged by their educational backgrounds!
