Is it true that all i have to do to connect the remote wire is cut the blue wire at the back of my aftermarket headunit and connect it from there to the amp ?

Why did you need a new thread for this? Why not just ask it in your other thread where you are asking why it isnt working. If you have no remote feed and no ground it aint gonna work.
