Everyone seems to be going on about red dot and there remaps. Anyone had a remap from celtic tunning. they are quoting 186 bhp and 284 torque which to me seems very good.

Quoting and actually delivering that power are 2 different things. You need before and after rolling road sessions to prove the power gain.

For which petrol? Tjet? Cant get more than 155from a Tjet due to Fiat fitting a restricted turbo.

Mines a Red Dot re-map chris, it was done at 32,000 miles over 2 years ago now, mileage is now on 58,000 with no issues at all, I had 2 Rolling Road sessions, 1 before (144Bhp standard) & 1 after, almost 194Bhp. Torque is now 261ft llbs. £200! Great value and demonstrated benefits.

I am very happy, economy is still excellent, around 47 - 48 driving local, up to 52 - 53 on a Motorway run.

think i will just go to red dot then since they have a rolling road. celtic tunning just remap ur car without the rolling road and id like to see the before and after results.

Thing is chris, go on a Fiat Forum Rolling Road day & you get to meet other Forum members, thats fun, used to do a bar-b-q as well and free cakes!

I met quite a few Forummers when I went down, the whole time I was there was really interesting & you get to see the work done, ask questions, get up close to your car on the Rollers (scary) & you can actually discuss what levels of Bhp / Torque you want, I chose a little less Torque but got the full 194 Bhp (well as near as feckit is to swearin anyhow) :p

Main thing is it has been totally reliable since.

When is the next RR day, I would fancy going but the length of the drive is the only problem for me, something like an 8-900 mile round trip.

If I were to go for a re-map I would want the best, I cant seem to find anybody up here who does the remap with a rolling road.

We plan to do a couple of rr days closer to your area early next year. We will bring along the rolling road and mapping equipment if enough people will be seriously interested.

However it won't be done on the familiar land and sea.

 Hi Peter... how is the old dog these days?

P.S. what "familiar land & sea"?

I hate being Post 13!
