Most if not all plugs come pre-gapped now surely? Any reason your asking, have you altered the gapping by accident and need to return to normal?

i always check the gap they are new plugs and the gap is 0.98mm without adjusting seems very big:bang:

If it's the FIAT or NGK plugs they are pre-gapped go with them and see what happens.

Its always good practice to check pregapped plugs. They might leave the factory with the correct gap but you dont know what has happened to them or how they have been handled in the interim. Someone could have unwrapped it for whatever reason, then accidently dropped it and closed the gap up slightly then put it back in the packaging.

I can't find my sparkplugs. I think the dealer stole them when it went in for service.

I have to agree with the others, ALWAYS check the gaps on your plugs before putting them in.
