Hi Everyone - I was wondering if anyone with technical knowledge of the GP could help me out?

My heater fan on my 07 GP Sporting has suddenly become very noisy, it's like a deep dull vibration in the dashboard whenever the fan speed's above 50% (it's got climate control). When I pull the power plug out of the fan under the glove box the noise disappears, so it's definitely the fan. I'm thinking maybe something has become stuck in the fan, as it's before the pollen filter.
Could anyone tell me how I'd remove the fan from the car, to see if anything's stuck in it? There are so many screws and bolts under there I don't know where to start! Or any other advice? I know it's still in 3rd year warranty, but the garage I bought it from has been credit crunched!

its been covered before so do a search

you need to remove the glove box (one removable plug with a screw head) then the box will come out]

unclip wire then then undo the retaining screws the whole motor assembly should then drop down

Thanks a lot for your help, job done! Half a forest removed from the fan and pollen filter, running sweet as a nut now!

no need to remove glovebox just 1 x 20torx screw holding air duct and 3 x 5.5 (?) screws to drop motor.

Don't you hate how this car seems to collect leaves under the scuttle:bang::bang::bang:

saves having to sweep them up.
