Until the info is released through VOSA (probably a few months from now
) then the info has only been released to dealers, thus its not my place or position to make such info public.....but like most recalls its a 'preventive' measure & of all the ones I have checked so far its been a check only & thats it. Remember the heater wiring recall, theres was all sorts of panic about it being only air-con models & talk of this & that needing replaced etc which was all just 'pub' talk. All it needed was a clip fitted & I know of none that needed anything more.
You have to remember if quality control find a fault (or potential fault in the making) then they will have to try & trace from at which point on the production line this could of occured/ended. This takes a fair bit of investigating and when 2 sets of chassis numbers are known to be good then everything in between is recalled as a precaution. The customer gets a free coffee while the checks are done

No point in speculating - sod all you can do so you may as well just wait for Johnny FIAT dealer to give you a call and invite you down. I have my car booked in on Friday, so I'll just ask them about it then. That said, I am kind of enjoying my workout whenever I have to use the steering at the moment. By the time the dealer has changed the steering motor, I'll look like you, Mr T

If I was built like that i'd be employed as a actor......i'm afraid too many years on a crisp (and steak pie) diet have taken its toll on my body At least I have somewhere to rest my coffee mug

Ah well mine falls within the range too! warranty ended on my car in September what happens if they do find the fault are they required to fix it or will it cost?
Its a recall, you dont pay.

Increased performance, better MPG & handling........could just be in the mind though
