 Theres 1 thing you haven't checked kidda... ;) the thing that is rattling! :p

What did you use to check and / or tighten up the inner wheel arch liners?

Did you get all the plastic panels back on OK when the rear roof post was examined for the seat-belt reel check?

And rock the car hard side to side to see if its actually a "deferred" noise from the anti-roll bar drop link... if you dont check you wont know, and that = £££ from your purse... :p

Don't think she or I could do it hard enough to make it rattle  lol

Fiat WILL know. In my experience the noise never stopped....unlike other problems when you take them to the stealers.

It wouldn't be hard enough to make this noise. Trust me.

 Is she Rally-crossing it? If it has to be pushed hard to make the noise I'd check the top mounts for the rear dampers mate...

I know ya did foxy...i just wanted to know what the sound was an the sound is similar to what i have got,,,,when they check the seatbelts for the m.o.t do they actually take the seat belt post out?? Cause you said(foxy) to see if they put it back properlly lol..

Nah, just pull the belt out, fasten and un-fasten it, check it for damage and as long as it coils up again they dont dismantle the post Clair, my money would still be on a drop-link, had me going for a while, I stripped the rear end totally & felt a right noodle when they changed the drop-link under 3rd year warranty and the rattle went never to return yet...

Uneven roads at low speed were shocking until it was fixed...

If I were you i'd stay off Derby Road till you get it fixed.

I go to Liverpool a lot & all the roads I go on are excellent... European City of Culture money FTW! :p

Clair i seem to vaguely remember you did a car maintenance course

if the cars out of warrenty the drop links only cost about £8 (from my mates experiance with a stilo the other week) from a motor factors...

depending on them they need either an alan key or open ended spanner and socket set and some penetration oil (plus gas/ Bilt hamber ferrisol)

soak for several hours even better over night or a couple of days (just keep giving them a bit once or twice a day)
