Hi, i am looking to know where is the cheapest or most reasonable place to buy brake discs and pads for my 1.2 Grande punto. At the moment, ive been quoted £16.76 for pads and £32.00 for discs, so far these are the cheapest.

Just wondering if anyone has changed their pads and discs for uprated ones, if so which ones and prices please?.

many thanks
john:)

I have done around 17600 miles in one year, although mainly due to travelling all around country for family reasons and work. But also due to driving around like a dick for first two or three months until fuel went up.

Ive learnt my lesson now though.;)

Yes i did hammer it first few months, but im a changed driver now. Fuel and service bills are expensive so treating the car right is best way forward. Suppose i will go for those prices i got quoted. thanks guys.

You been riding the brakes like an old granny:eek:

Pads should be good for about 30K or more, discs longer if you don't do them as a job lot with the pads.

If you're interested in uprated stuff, Red Dot do 6 groove or 20 discs for the 1.2. they also do uprated pads, or you can buy the GreenStuff pads off EBC.

Also to make your're new pads last longer try this:
