Had a look at he new punto Evo in todays SUN Motors paper. I think they have done a stupid job. That new front grill is horrible and theyve gone and stuck some bloody led lexus lights on the back. Would like to see a rear pic though. But think im going to stick with the Grande! what do you think?

p.s - its not a grande punto evo its just a punto evo :s

Am I mad for starting to warm towards the EVO?:(

I think not, the front does seem a bit strange but thats because were used to the 'standard' front end (which IMO is bit bland)....and how many posts have we seen with reference to the upper/lower grilles!

Aslong as Fiat have taken note of all the issues of 'old' GP then the new GP evo should be a more reliable & better all round car. Interior wise it looks 100 times better (again how many people have complained about the 'old' dash layout) & I will reserve judgement until I have driven it but i'm sure it will be a vast improvement.

I really do like it in red or black T and I agree about the interior as its very bravo like and I actually like being in the wifes bravo coz eveything feels closer to hand. I think those alloys set it out nicely too!(y)

Careful there T, its almost a sin to say the Evo might just be an improvement on the Grande!

I hated it. The classic purity is gone. However, since it seems to address most of the failings of the old car, and adds genuinely improved economy, which for me is paramount, I am, er, warming to it as well.

Better to spend development money on the economy and the interior, which after all charm the buyers, than design a whole new car and not have any money left for other models and technology.

What worries me is that after the success of the 500, especially with female buyers, Fiat have decided that they need to make all their cars less aggressive-looking, and more bubbly and round.

I think my next Fiat will be an Alfa.

Meanwhile, Nissan seems to have found the Grande Punto look inspiring, based on these leaked images on the next Micra...

And I wont have to constantly keep moving/deleting/merging 'How do I take out my front grille posts anymore'....thank you Fiat:)

seriously wt is your ****ing problem. If your sick of seeing soo many posts like this one, why did you look at it? :bang:

technically speaking (its in the forum rules) you should have quick look/search for similar threads (if they were long ago thats ok) otherwise the forum gets cluttered & makes it dificult to find hte info you are looking for.

However anyone that makes a repost gets a classic fail and a slagging (thats in forum rules aswell) and since you done it after someone else had already failed you get double the slagging.........but its just a laugh & we have all done it;)

I kinda like it a bit now.

Are the LED running lights basically where the indcators used to be?
