Technical Help !! brake squeeling

Matt thanks for the advice, so its just a grande thing with the squeeling then whatever you do ?
ive just ordered EBC front pads aswell so gonna be putting them on, but dont really expect any difference after what you said .

also abit out of the question just ordered my Eibach sportlines aswell, my next door neighbor is gonna happily fit them for me as he is a track racer and knows alot, hense why i got my pads and sportlines cheap as he is sponsered by a performance company ;)

but he asked if i needed to know the torque settings for the springs to get them fitted, or did i understand wrongley ?

thanks tanel.

this will help

https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto-guides/182134-how-replace-stock-springs-front-back.html

(i assume he wants to makesure he refits the dampers and bolts to the correct torque) which means he really knows what he is doing and wants to do it right for you which is a bonus ;)

1 DecaNewton/Metre (daNM) = 10 Newton/Metres

then those with the degree symbol after them means you torque to the torque figure then add further tightness in degrees

say you get the torque for bolt "A" as 10 daNM + 90^ (^= degrees).....

10 danm = 100Nm on your torque wrench

so nip up to 100 NM then once torqued up add a further 1/4 turn ((90 degrees))

Thanks andy your a life saver exactly what i was looking for !
next door neighbor said you know what your talking about ;) haha
hes unbelievable with these stuff you want to see his cars for his racing they are mad .
Believe or not hes actually fitted my K&n induction with a few extra things not to how its supposed to be fitted and it actually has mad a big difference, he took me to his garage he goes to and tested it.
cause usualy you place it on top of the engine bay which takes more hot air then cold, but placed mine differently so only cold air gets to it.
saved me alot of money rather getting the gsr but still is abit better.
thats guide was exactly what i needed.

when im done ill will put my car up in the members motors to show it off see what you all think .
1.2 black dynamic
tinted all windows
fox r3 alloys
eibach sportlines
ebc greenstuff pads
custom silver made stripes ( fiat dealer ripoffff )
K&n induction kit
and xeon headlights.

thinking of what else to do any ideas let me know ?

Thanks again andy :)

no problem when he has it in bits tell him twhen he has the spring off (to replace with your ebatchi springs (assuming you havent got new dampers)

get him to strip and re grease the strut top bearing race

(assuming its the same as the stilo i had in bits last week)

(2 metal disc's held together with a plastic lock ring which can be removed with care and a slotted screwdriver. once open you will see the caged barings inside clean all the bits with a bit of degreaser and regrease)

(sits between the upper bush and lower upper bush) (sits on top of the spring)

saves doing it again in a few months time ;)
