can anyone help internal footwell trim

hey guys hope someone can help

In the drivers side passenger foot well the trim where i can rest my foot has pushed back and the vent grille type trim now sticks out, i think i have broken one of the clips that hold it in but i cant be sure of it. I just wondered if there was anyway of fixing it or if it is possible to buy a new trim piece if so how much would it cost?

thanks

Re: can anyone help internal footwell trim

As stated loosen the bolt and jiggle it around. My vent is actually glued down as well to stop it sticking it out.

Re: can anyone help internal footwell trim

Cheers guys I shall check it out tomorrow.
The vent gets caught on my trousers too, what glue can I use to hold it down?

If neither works and I have broken thr clips how much would I be looking at to replace the trim?

Re: can anyone help internal footwell trim

wear shorts

the clip holder (thin piece if plastic) can bend, remove as already stated & of the 3 clips push the 'dodgy' one in first before the others, finally finishing with the 10mm bolt.
Thanks k11g02 thanked for this post

Re: can anyone help internal footwell trim

mine played up for quite a while, pants kept getting caute etc, and i ended up pulling it out with no effort what so ever, asif it was just leaning up against where it was supposed to be secure. Warranty should cover this?

Re: can anyone help internal footwell trim

My wife had this break on her new Grande Punto, it was replaced under warranty so not sure what it cost

It appears to be a common problem on RHD cars
