lol....another was 'chin chein' (or something like that?) lasted for years but gave f*ck all grip...brake even remotely quickly on a zebra crossing or similar surface and you were on the floor!

when I moved up to Brit bikes I always had avon roadrunners & man you could really grind those footpegs down fast :devil:

*edit...just checked 'cheng shin' tyres

What aftermarket wheels have you got on? Chances are they are heavy as fook so dealership will say the extra stress that they have put on drivetrain components have caused it to go.

hey, I've done it myself occasionally but as they say, everything in moderation!;)

and matt, seeing as I've the same engine as him then will I likely have probs if I changed from standard alloys to aftermarkets? as you know I've got the sporting and think hes got the GP trim Grande!

and they are not heavy as fook, they are easly as twice as light as those standard fiat ones.
and i know this because i fitted them myself and had to lift them and i could easly tell!

sorry about last night lost my rag a little.
ha dmy car towed away. with a slight tear in my eye lol.
saw underneath and from what i can tell the gear box mountings are F***ed and theres a bit of stuff cracked and that.
garage having a look for me tomorrow and are gonna let me know.
