"I am a highly trained engineer. I worked on this years Brawn F1 car.
Oh yes sorry because I have a 1.4 16v car with no engine mods I know absolutely nothing. Oh no wait maybe I know its just pointless money"

Presumably as you have a **** poor 1.4 (Corsa?) you sweep the pits/garage for Ross Brawn? You can't do much else for a BIG money team. The F1 members of the pit crew are paid over £50K each. Mr Brawn can negotiate at least a 20% discount on any nw Ferarri for his staff.

Brawn were paid £1 million pounds a point for the Constructors Championship this year by Bernie Ecclestone - That is £156 MILLION pounds to date with one Grand Prix to go. Enjoy your 1.4 16 valve car as a "highly trained engineer"!!

who do you think you are? flaming someone with your first post? not a great start :tosser:

Yes friend, I have a **** poor 1.4 corsa. They just let me on this FIAT forum because I'm special. But not as special as you from what you've just made out.

As for your boyfriend Ross getting 20% discount on any new Ferrari Wooooooooooopie.

You.....shouldn't come back.

i think its about time some people tried some other companies as Red Dot is at one end of the country and would be better for everyone if several different companies could be reccomended for mapping around the country :)

My dad's mate had his 2.2 civic remapped by Celtic to ~209bhp iirc and its still running strong 2 years later, never had the engine light on, and no black smoke out the back.

You hear lots of good things about Red dot on this forum, and on others- the VXR boys use them i think?

I'm going to be trying RS Tuning in Leeds at some point, so will be able to report back on them aswell :)

Well its about time someone said it.

i wouldn't go there i already know about them from pc2

look on cwc site they use some that are up north http://www.cruisewestcumbria.co.uk/forum/index.php

was mapped on a rr dave.

what was wrong with RS tuning? they are one of the only mappers than can do my ecu in the country apparently.
dont really want to get into it as he the type of person that searches forums and has a go at people.

its not because i only like red dot
other like
Weston Performance
or
Ecosse
are not as far down the country and have some good rep

have to back this one, it will settle the matter for good!!!
Come on tuners, just go ahead and do it!!!! :D

1. they not allowed to post with out paying

2. ATM a rr day with just 1 company we are there for 12 hours or more, be impossible to have loads more all on 1 rr

3. happy members show some have nothing to prove

whats the best for the map though power and torque or how long engine components will last its one thing getting the most power but how long will the car last so putting them against each other will only work if you have members who will keep the car for a set time to see if any problems are caused

of course theres more than just power, drivability, reliability etc....any volunteers?

load map then put on RR...shouldnt take long then load next map etc?

rr car, down load old map, upload new map, rr it, check fuelling, air an so on go re write map in places where its needed, re rr it. some cars you have to take ecu out to do it, road test car, some times that shows up some thing else that need tweeking. takes ages some times. some times it dont
