i've got a 1.4 16v and i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how i could i could tune up the engine.
im getting the the gsr kit and remap is out of the question since it cant be remapped.
some did mention to me about changing the cams.
anyone know if this is worth doing?
i've also got an exhaust systems being designed atm.
any other ideas?

Induction and Exhaust seem like the only option atm...

Why change cams when you can't map it?

When you say exhaust system being designed do you mean you went to powerflow?

nah i didnt go powerflow some one i know had one and i werent to keen on it he had a few problems you see.

i went to a place called A.I motorsport near where i live. i got my alloys from there and when i picked them up, i asked him to design something for my car and he should be ringing me tomorrow. not gonna fit it till end of october because thats when my warrenty runs out like.

If your cars an 05 plate then your warrenty has already ran out mate by like a year lol, 3 years they are. Exhaust wouldnt really make a difference to anything anyway.

No it hasn't its a 56 plate i've got till the end of the month.

Then why have you got your profile thing saying its an 05? If it runs out in a month then stop pussying around lol. Changing an exhaust can only invalidate the warrenty on the exhaust and what with you having a new exhaust that doesnt really matter does it?

It should say 56 never noticed that before lol.
im not putting it on now due to the fact my drive shaft berings have come out after a loud cracking noise,
