Does anyone know what is in line for tuning options on this engine.

I've contacted Forge but had no reply to 2 e-mails - I may just pop in there with the car when i'm passing sometime in the next couple years. Anybody know if the underbody bracing bars will fit the 1.6 mjet?

No brake upgrades listed yet!! Want EBC Green Stuff pads like on my Corolla with grooved discs and braided hoses.

Does anyone have a contact at GSR to discuss what options are in the pipeline?? I want an induction kit and remap but any ideas on what is viable from these guys?

Lastly, is there a upgrade to the turbo I can make as it's lost on me as always driven NA cars. Does the Abarth turbo fit the 1.6 mjet or am i barking up the wrong tree completely?

I've just looked on Eper here at work. 1.4tjet, 1.6jtd and 1.9jtd use the same pads, EBC website and cross references confirm this

Not to thread hijack, but are the braided hoses purely cosmetic or what? Just something I have never quite got my head around

Braided hoses resist expansion under pressure, effectively you loose pressure with the normal oe hose as it expands as well as conveying liquid along it.
