just got mine from hids direct. one bulb was dead so i drove down and they just gave me a new one . so worth ringing them to check! whats this about the shield though? mine are on the top of the bulb. so the little bit that switches the focus for high beam is above the bulb. is that right? thats the way the bulb looked to fit in the headlight but saying that..the beam was reallly high and scattered when i fitted them :s. hope it is because the acces to the lights was a bugger

also while i remember...the high beam does seem to be more dipped than the low now you mention it...i bet i have them on the wrong way :doh

I was refering to the electrode this time, i assume that is hidden within the metal sheild at the bottom?

i have one light with the electrode & metal sheild at the bottom, and the other has the metal sheild at the bottom, but the electrode up the top, i guess i need to take that one apart and turn it round.

jesus christ so long as you bought a H4 kit they go in just like the original bulbs!

Remember ALL HID (Xenon) upgrade bulbs for existing lights are ILLEGAL for road use and the DfT consider it illegal to sell them

i find someone with these gets flashed at less with these than they did with philips 130% brighter legal bulbs
