Exactly the same to work with when that small lol. Probably more of the hub left to seat on with just a normal 5mm spacer anyway. But no for a tenner you cant go wrong. Was that including longer bolts?

Started to notice a nasty vibration noise when flooring the car through first and second or going through 1st and 2nd gear pretty quick.

Didnt notice it at all unless your driving hard. Just not to sure which one of the bars could be fouling, the smaller one is a good bit off the exhaust etc. Any ideas?

I fitted these braces last tuesday and had a horibble banging when accelerating.. We put the car on the ramp the next morning and it appears that both bars are fouling. The longer front one hits the gearbox mount quite hard and the shorter rear one just touches the exhaust flange.
The guys here were going to 'alter' the mount slightly but we decided that we'd try a new rear gearbox mount as Fiat have superseded the number (50510781). So assuming that they did this for a reason we went ahead and.....

Now it only knocks 1-2 & 2-3 with some extremely vigorous driving.. and only a very brief knock.

It would appear that the Mjet's have the problems due to the huge difference in torque..

I think its either a case of altering the mount or having a new mount made with a solid or much harder compound rubber put in.

We'll be altering my mount in the near future so I'll get some pics of the result.

I've had mine on for a few weeks now and not had one problem with them...

Touch wood!!

Anyone solved this yet? I fitted mine yesterday and I'm getting knocking in 1st, 2nd and 2nd-3rd! Machanic said it was the engine moving slightly, that caused the exhaust to move slightly.
He said I could try packing them with washers so it sits a little bit further from the exhaust!?
