Hi guys

Just though I'd add a pic of my Partners brand spanking new Ambient white 1.4 Dualogic GP Eleganza.

It's a joy to drive and its stuffed full of toys. Very jealous indeed :(

Nice one - Eleganza the way to go (y)

We ordered the Eleganza but apparently Fiat LOST IT!! But I know a salesman at the garage very well and was informed it had been SOLD!!!!!!!!!

The replacement was a 1.6 Sporting so not bad for an extra £600 :slayer:

It's the Mrs car as she wanted the extras but only thing the sporting hasn't got is the climate thing?? It's got standard air con or sumthing?? Didn't pay much attention to that bit

Either way i'm happy with a new toy to be collected at end of month

Nice in white (I wanted exotica red but I had to get metallic, ordered new orleans blue but when I went to pick it up It had transmogrified into chemical grey). I hope you enjoy it as much as I like mine, stonking wee car! :)

SNAP :)

My Mrs collected hers a few weeks ago. We also ordered it in white, with a few added extras. Managed to get it on the scrap scheme along with the Fiat Affinity Bonus from the Fiat Coupé club too (y)

Oh forgot to mention it's a 90hp 1.3 Diesel. So far it is averaging late 50s Mpg but as the engine beds in it is getting better and better.

Nice. Sorry for the late reply only been busy on the 500 threads :p

Hope she's enjoying the toys as much as I am. Dualogic, drivers armrest and cruise control make this the easiest and most relaxing car to drive.

I love it, perhaps even more than my partner :D

What percentage did you get off with the affinity scheme? We did ours through the west midlands police force

Our options through the FCCUK Scheme were:

Based on the Grande Punto 90hp Diesel @ £13650 List

On standard Scheme
£9514:02 Scheme price
Discount on options 31.5%

With Scrap Scheme
£8498 Scheme Price
Discount on options 24%

As my old work hack was only worth a few hundred pounds we decided to give it up and use the scrap scheme route.

We got 31.5% off the list price for the 1.6 sporting as it came onto the scheme once the garage blamed Fiat for "losing" our Eleganza - we always wanted the 1.6 mjet but as it was new wasn't on there! We couldn't believe our luck.

1.6 mjet 5dr Sporting in white with skydome, tints, alloys upgrade £11,145 with loads of dealer extras like mudflaps, mats, sill guards etc etc and the diamond brite gold package!!

Thanks for all the great comments, i'm still getting used to it glad I had it in white altho it gets dirty quick. Hav'nt got used to dualogic yet with me driving old style autos before, rolling back is bit unusual since hill holder doesnt work unless its a real hill.

Cant wait for it to rain so I can test out the rain sensing wipers, was most impressed with the small things. Like 12v socket in the boot, reading lights, puddle lights and deadlocking. What can I say im easily impressed.

Had to book it in with a few niggles tho, my abs doesnt seem to work right and caused the car to skid when the wheels locked up after someone pulled out on me. The boot lid is leaking in, the gearbox judders when going into second and dashboard was damaged on collection. Luckily the dealer is great (marsons in newcastle-u-lyme).
