I seen some white mirror covers on ebay which I think will look nice on my red Grande Punto to match the white stripes and white alloys but can't figure out at all how to take the old ones off, I've twisted, pulled and squeezed but they don't budge.
Its must be something really simple surely, can anyone help please????/:bang:

Pull them off. Start from the big bit near the car and push away.

1st of all, you need to take the glass off!
a. move [electrically] the glass to have lots of space on the outer-higher part of the mirror.
b. with some needle-shape 10cm or more tool, you unlock the 2 upper clips
c. you lean the glass towards the back side of the car
d. gently move it to "unlock" the 2 downside clips.

next, taking the cover off is easy. be very careful with the "glass", it's very thin in comparison to other cars! [it heats/defrosts faster]

Actually, you only need to do what Matt said, you dont need to remove the glass at all. I just grab the cap and pulled away from the car, it just popped off.
