Tuning T-jet abarth turbo upgrade

Hey all, wonderin if any1 could help me, ive read a few things about doin the t-jet/abarth turbo swap on the GP's. But im still a lil confuddled, can i jus swap it, reset the ECU n then carry as normal until i can get a remap or is it gonna be lumpy as ****? and do i need ter get an intercooler fer it aswell?
One last thing, whats the reliabitlity like cus i dont really wanna be fannyin around with it every 30 miles.

Yes you can just swap it and reset the ECU. But for best performance you need a Remap too.

No it will work with standard intercooler.

Dont even need to reset the ECU will adjust itself.

i read sumfin on here bout a bloke doin it n then wen he had it mapped the ecu died then they replaced the ecu n the engine did but i fink tht it was sumfin to do wiv the mappin/mappers.
i fink i probly will get it done n then wait till i got the cash ter take it to re dot, how much is a remap there?

You'll need to check when the next one is, for the money you get the re-map and 2 rolling road sessions (1 before and one after), plus a computer read-out showing the gains.
