Ok i've just been to top up the coolant in my car and it appears they've given me the wrong stuff. What do I need to do to get rid of this and make sure its paraflu goes in? I would have used water only but like to have a little mixture of both coolant and water in just to make sure there is some coolant in. I've checked the manual and it says not to drive the car if a mixture of collants occurs and now i'm worried!

Whos given you the wrong stuff? You dont need to use paraflu all the time, just as long as it isnt mixed with the two types

Called to a local motor store and they said it would be fine! Thats the problem i've only put a small amount in and there different colours Paraflu orangy/red and this new rubbish is blue (providing its paraflu that they put in when Fiat serviced it) Whats the best way to start again? If i keep filling it with water will it cause the coolant to spill out over the top or is there a simpler way to do it? I've just read round its not good to mix red and blue so my dads gone back to the shop now to give them a piece of his mind

Its not past the max mark at the minute still quite a way under. I've only put 100ml in at the most but still don't like that idea of the 2 being mixed as i've read it can cause engine problems. Dads just returned with paraflu which they've given him for free as they were idiots

Pipe was a bugger to remove so we unscrewed the expansion tank completley drained that and have now refilled it with paraflu and water. Should this be ok or is taking the pipes off to drain it more effective?
