If the wife is away and I'm driving like a hooligan then it hovers around the 30mpg mark, so only 240 miles per tank. - I've assumed 8 gallon / 40 litre tank in those calcs. When I fill up the trip computer normally tells me I have just over 330 miles of range, and if I'm driving sensibly that goes up to almost 400 miles after half an hour or so.
Sounds much the same as my 99 plate 1.2, im filling up on monday & going to manchester on tuesday & back, im sure that'll drain my tank but ill make sure to pay attention to my miles to see just how far i can get before the light starts coming on..... So if you see a broken down Red V reg punto on the M5/M6 feel free to throw a tank of petrol my way :P

Got the nagging in the back of my mind right now that it would be nice thinking of a diesel i could probably do bristol to manchester twice before filling up... what a saving! .. though, im only 25 is it really time for me to be sensible?
