Strange that, my mate had a 9 year old BMW 5 series and he always serviced it himself, found a spot of rust on the boot lid after 9 years and the Authorised BMW dealer took it in a resprayed the whole back of the car F.O.C!

Mine has always been serviced Full Fiat Service history.

If he bought the Beemer new he paid for the repair & no quibble warranty work when he bought the car Beany... he didnt know it at the time though.

Cant compare BMW warranty with Fiat TBH.

If you have had all the body checks you might have a chance, but I'm pretty sure the warranty is specifically rust / anti perforation only.

Yeah probably :( is it anti stone chip too?:p

Doubt it, depends so much on raods you drive on and how close to vehicles in front. I spend half a day / month touching up stone chips. And the Fiat touch up paint isnt the best match ever....

Lucky You Beany - my handles are pink on a red car - I may be a girl but I'm not sad enough to drive around in a pink car! I love the car too and intended to keep it for years! Fiat say the warranty is for paint work is 3 years and 8 years for corrosion. I'm praying all my stone chips start to rust!

Forced electrolisis on the paintwork.....:chin:

Yea they do fade bad. Look at your door sills or in the boot or under the bonnet. Mines a 56 plate and i took some white stripes of and now it looks like its got dark orange stripes on lol ill have to post some pics of it. I got a quote for a bumper scuff and dent and they didnt seem keen on matching the paint at all!
