I know this has been mentioned many many times before on the forum and i've had a search and read through alot of the threads but I not been able to find the exact info I want so if any can help then great stuff.

Right 1st of all is it as simple as just a straight swap?

I know to get the most out of it I will have to have a remap, but will the car run ok with the turbo on and no remap?

If there any 1 out there that has done it and had a remap what sort of BHP and Nm you got now.

There was a thread by punto ben on the forum but that all went quiet a while ago.

o and a long with the new turbo if I was to get the acurator from forge will i be able to get a bit more BHP

thanks every1

Yes, Yes, Dunno between 170-180, What about ben? Wouldnt bother with an actuator to start with you might aswell spend your money on other stuff that will benefit the car more.

Yeah it's a straight swap.

Will probably run ok without remap if you reset the ecu,but there's no point.

With remap you will get around 170-180hp as matt says and appx. 280Nm.

Actuator won't give you more hp.Maybe a better curve and some Nm,but not worth imho. The stock is ok,better invest on a forge ic.(y)

So it is just a case of straight swap and then take it to a company like red dot to do a remap??

What difference does a forge make ? excuse my lack of knowledge.

400 for turbo, 200-400 for mapping depends where you go and dunno for labour, not much.

Or are you talking about intercooler?

FMIC is £350ish, fitting another £50 say but its easy so do it yourself and i dunno what gains you would get on abarth turbo. Need a better exhaust anyway as standard is too restrictive.

I told you, take a drive to prospeed in cardiff. Will be worth it. Supersprint are all well and good but they make them on a standard car so if you are going to be other stuff to the engine you are better going custom.
