My car has just had its 2nd serviced today at D Salmon in Colchester. And I have had the leather destroyed on my steering wheel and one of my air vents has snapped.

D Salmon said Fiat approved the replacement but I then got a phone call later today saying on a test drive the car has an EGR failure. But when they told Fiat they said they would repair the EGR but not the steering wheel or air vent. I have opened a case with Fiat directly and now waiting to hear back.

Do you think I stand any chance of having these replaced considering Fiat first approved for them to be.

My car has done 22000 miles and was first Registered 30 April 2007

In general trim is NOT covered under the 3rd year.

Doubt it. As said trim isnt usually covered in 3rd year but as they are becoming known problems you might get lucky.

I have had a night mare with it they want £450 for a new steering wheel and £150 for a new air vent. I took the car for an mot and has failed as they said its not safe with the steering wheel being how it is.

Because of how I have been treated I will never buy another Fiat

Oh and they ordered the wrong egr what a joke.

why not get in touch with trading standard find out where you stand this does not seem right to me.
when my son got his bravo with 5 yr warranty i was told everything was covered for 5 yrs, so stand your ground with fiat.
