Has anyone de-pinked the rear light cluster other than buying new ones or smoked?

I'm wondering if there is a fairly cheap way of making the indicator part less of a blurry faded red colour.

Anyone got pics of stuff they've done?

You cant de pink them and there isnt a cheap way of doing it unless you spray them black with tint spray.

I think Jamie tried and failed at removing the pink

I tried it aswell and fcuked them up good and proper. If you dremeled the lights apart then you could take the orange thing out the light but i dont know how you are planning on changing the colour of the plastic?

is there any kind of legalities with that? darkness/visibilty etc? can you just buy a can of 'smoke' and spray?

you could just tint the outside of the indicator part, it should shine through ok stil so long as you dont do it too dark

hmmm. not sure its really worth the arsing about. might just look into ebay for complete clusters. thanks guys
