Styling Rear Light Cluster

I tinted the indicator part took just over two hours and wasnt a ballache at all. easy thing to do and it looks good when finnished. alll you need is a can of tint spray costs you about £10 and some spare time.

To be honest, the Lexus lights are closer to what I prefer on a car.

I like the running lights and brake lights to be red and the turning lights to either be orange or clear.

I tried it aswell and fcuked them up good and proper. If you dremeled the lights apart then you could take the orange thing out the light but i dont know how you are planning on changing the colour of the plastic?

I tinted my rear stock lights a medium tint but that just turned the pink indicator to and orangey pink thanks to the dome shaped orange filters inside.. There is no way of opening the rear lights so i cut the filters into 4 quarters using a soldering iron with a blade attachment though the bulb hole, then pulled the 4 quarters out the hole. It was pretty tough and hard not to melt the chrome plastic around the hole but it does make a nice difference..

The most effort was spent staring at the light deciding how it should be done.. Only took about 20 mins to do it really and sometimes its the small things that make a big difference. The worst part was the Plastic fumes enveloping my existence. If anyone plans on doing this bare in mind you have to use the front indicator bulbs (chrome orange) and cut off one of the offset pins for it to fit.
