Can anyone tell me if the steering wheel audio control buttons should light up in the dark?

Not drove for a while in the dark, but think that they do so.

haha, I SHOULD know the answer to this, but for some reason i genuinely can't remember for the life of me. Would be inclined to say the do though.

Depends some do some dont. What model do you have and how old is it?

Some do, some dont. It's pot luck but I think it is the older Dynamic, Eleganza and Sportings that do light up. Mine do, but I have seen sportings that don't

Mine in my 06 Active Sport (without Blue&Me) don't. They're just painted labels.

Mine do.

Just driven back tonight and mine do glow...faintly. 06 Dynamic

Mine light up .. 07 1.2 active

I didn't want to start a new thread so...
I connected an mp3 player on my standard blaupunkt (GP) and i notised that the steering wheel audio control buttons don't light up now.Is there a cable behind the unit that i might have moved by accident maybe?

my 08 dynamic 1.3 dont light up

edit: no blue and me

my 07 1.2 dynamic does light up, orange in fact

also mine has not blue and me!

Well back again! I told the dealer about the wheel buttons not lighting up, he checked my cars frame number and told me that they are not suppose to light up!OMG!But they WERE lighting up and stopped about 2 months ago.Advice?

Software update done at any time?

My 56 plate 1.9 MJet has illuminated steering wheel control buttons.

Not recently.Do you think that will solve that?

Mine Light up 2006 06 mjet sporting and 5.4 blue&me update done

i think they may of sorted this as this thread is from 6 months ago.
