Hi im new here.

I have got a Grande Punto 2007, it has bluetooth with all the controls on the steering wheel but it's a plastic one and I have seen a leather one I want.

I have a few questions;

It is easy to fit?

It comes without an airbag, will it be easy to take the one out of my current steering wheel.

I couldn't see any guides for this???

Also I can get it for £75 including postage is that a good price?

yes but if you get in doubt with the airbag then ask dont go causing your self an expensive reset bill.

i paid £71 inc postage for mine. so i would say yes

new the two prices are iirc £248.75 and £238.50

Thanks, I think I might take it to fiat and ask them to do it

Did you get yours second hand?

One other question, if I use my inner panel (i.e the centre bit the with fiat logo on) will it not match the leather steering wheel? as it's sort of that bumpy black plastic look.

doesnt make any difference really
plus that is all part of the airbag module ie not cheap

Ok I got the steering wheel but have a problem.

I took it too a mechinic and he took my current steering wheel off.

On the back plate it looked different.

This is a picture of my new steering wheel



Now where I have market with the arrow, on my current steering wheel the shape is different. Basically the is the square hole but another longer square hole underneath which is where the connecters from the car is popping out, so it appears this one isn't the same.

The guy I brought the new steering wheel from said it was for 2006>

Can anyone let me know if I can do anything about this? or is will I need a different steering wheel?
