I have just brought some blue led side lights but when a went to install them only 1 flashed and one never did anything. Does any one no why this happens?
Im just gonna tell him to go search as it has been covered plenty before about why not to use them and how to get them to work properly.
I will be kind and explain a bit though. LED's require little power. Alot less then the standard bulb. The ECU picks up that the bulb is using little power and thinks that the bulb has blown.
i see no problem at all with using the ones you have TBH, i'm using LED side lights and there fine, just buy some load resistors and fit them, you'll be fine

there pretty easy if not a little fiddly, i've posted the guide above on exactly how to fit them, you may be able to get them from maplin but for the side lights they need to be at least! 25w rated otherwise they'll just burn up real fast, i'd go for some off ebay as they come with heat sinks as well
