Fiat know for sure your car will FK up during 3 years and FK up even more after! Thats why they have put 5 years warranty on them now! they know how bad they are.

How does that stack up against the Kia C'eed witha 7 year Warranty and voted one of the best cars around? A longer Warranty shows more faith in the product, logic really.

lol i'll not be seen near one. Although there designs are improving. BMW is the way to go in the near future.

Petrol? If diesel check out turbo failures on BMW 320's lol... as bad burned as scalded IMO :p

BMW's, Can't really compare with a Fiat they are very expensive!

Yes cos they have that QC we were talking about and few who buy them dare share their poor experiences with the world as their poor choice will make them look fools!

I repeat... NO CAR IS WITHOUT FAULTS!

End of sermon!

I love my Fiat! :D (y) :worship:

I love my Fiat too (even more so when that abarth turbo arrives)

24,000 reliable miles

There will always be whingers though

Just so you know 5 yrs warranty is no longer avalible on the Punto's....

Fiat agreed to honor my 5 yr warranty tho (Picked up car last Sunday)

Was there a Press Release on that BGreatholder?

Was there a Press Release on that BGreatholder?

Nope. I only found out because:

placed my order for a GPS when the 5 yr deal was on. Got a phone call to say yep, order placed but fiat will no longer offer the warranty for 5 yrs (dealer was looking into buying me a top-up deal for 2 yrs since it was written into my sales contract I would have 5 yrs warranty) I then phoned fiat, complained like buggery, they said they would look into it. Then got a phone call from Fiat HQ saying they would be providing me with 2 yrs Manufacturers Warranty + 3 Years dealer (what it origionally was).. They have also e-mailed the dealership and confirmed the status of the warranty (ive seen on the computer and have lots of ref. numbers :) )

If you look on fiat.co.uk all the details re: 5 yr warranty have now been removed...

totally agree. who on earth who has spent 40 and 50,000 quids on a car shall tell anyone about the faults his/her car has!noone. it is exactly the same case on university. which expensive university isn't among the 50 best university lists?
i can tell you my experience with bmw z3, z4,520 and 316(e46). fractured suspension dome. and rewelding with argon. and the funny thing is that people on bmw deal this as it is a small expected problem. i counted 16 z4 and 5 z3 and 37 520 (e36).

Ill also go with that! No car is without faults. I've had cars with 'German Reliablility' that well, have had plenty of faults (mainly engine sensor related, but still!) My VW Polo 9n was in the garage once every other month (1.4 16v), My Seat Ibiza (1.8 20V Turbo) had sensors go here and there, the g/box was weak and fooked up, clutch master/slave cylinder problems etc...... gremlins will exist in everything! some of it depends on how much abuse you give your cars i guess, others is just pure luck?

:yeahthat:
as for luck. unfortunately this is a very important factor.
strangest thing. a friend of mine with a seat ibiza 2004 model 1,4 top gun hasn't experience a thing, but another friend with a polo 2003 every 2- 3 months is for checking.

BMW 335D SE Coupe is an amazing Car and has an Amazing Engine.

£20k second hand, well worth it.

 How much? Sod that for a lark.... :p ;) Do it Tym you know you should!

I know but I just found out this morning I have a new responsibility which will arrive in january. So my car's will have to wait a while lol.
