Hey Fiat Fans! Do you really think a GSR induction kit is beneficial and really worth it for a GP 1.4 8v? Somethings like 5hp increase and up to 15% torque increase against £170's worth of kit?

I know the 1.4 16v engine gains more from the induction, any idea how much the increase for the 1.4 8v would benefit on a scale of 1-10...is it true that it also improves mpg?

twinned with a proper custom re-map by someone who knows what there doing and it would, but just on its own your not going to notice too much difference

I'd say, get a decent full exhaust system on with either sports cat or de-cat and perhaps a panel filter, perhaps exhaust manifold, and then get it remapped.

Im planning on gettin a full powerflow custom exhaust system so the induction would be installed after that. I guess ill see if there is any difference after the exhaust is fitted.

Fingers crossed ill have my GP in 2 weeks :D exited!!

had mine on about 7mths bhp isn't anything really noticable but definatly notice the difference in torque ,mpg is another matter every body drives different all as i can say is if your not going to get GSR leave it std,all the rest are waste of time and money (n) had K&N + tried after market panal filter and none came close to GSR(y)(y)

Since you are in the Milands, go rather to Custom Chrome than a powerflow outlet.

As long as I dont loose power im ok, I can get a discount from someone that works at a powerflow garage near me

I have a 1.1 PSA engine, admittadly not completely relevant, but I gained some 33% Torque at 2k RPM by doing GSR + Remap. This is the difference between wheelspinning 3rd and not in the case of my car, and made it hugely more fun to drive as well as that adding 10mph+ to the top speed of the car in horsepower gains.

In both respects its a mod well worth while even on the smaller engines, in my opinion.

( OK OK... I stop being a GSR sales rep now, but I click new posts and every time theres something else about GSR hahaha )
