I was just wondering the spefication of the Mjet once it has been remapped? e.g. 0-60, mpg AS i wanted to comapre it to other cars around the 200bhp mark

cheers

0-60 will be down to about 4 seconds without a doubt

on a more serious note, if you dont cane it everywhere once you get the map on and just drive exactly as you did before then you will see improved mpg as the engine is not having to work as hard.

If your comparing it to other 200bhp diesels or thereabouts then it is going to be much quicker as they are in bigger cars normally, but if your comparing to a 200bhp petrol, big difference really- petrol for power everytime.

Specification? They are all different. No mjet will come out the same after a map but you are looking between 175-195 depending on how you ask for it to be mapped.

185 BHP would be 42% increase in power. Speed, and hence time, is proportional to the square root of power so I would therefore predict approximately a 20% reduction in 0-60 time - so about 7.7 seconds. But, of course, you'd need to verify this experimentally to be sure...;)

Tris is taking the ****. Will be mid to high 6's

I'd be very suprised if mid 6's is acheivable... I have serious problems getting all my power down out of the blocks, so I don't think an extra 10 horses will improve the time. ( I can hit 7 seconds with a good start)

Tym - Was it timed with a Gtech kit or some geezer with a stopwatch lol looking at the dashboard display? :)

well mines got more power than that kids who said his did it in 6.6 or sumin, and i cant beet my brothers 182 trothy that dose it in 6.6

Maybe so in a straight line, but I bet he p1sses all over you on anything but a motorway....lol

Like to see you get all that power n torque down from a standing start.....Go and time yourself with proper GPS kit...should be interesting (y)

i had my re-map of one and a half years reversed back to normal by nigel at angel tuning today, and to be honest i can't really tell the difference. yea there is a vid on youtube of a 170bhp re-mapped sporting and it does 0-60 in about 7.5, my sporting was about 170 too and did pretty much the same. i'm picking up my new VW Scirocco 2 litre 197bhp with 19 inch alloys in about a week or so....just thought i'd add that in :D
