Good evening,



i have just been filling the windscreen washer bottle up and noticed that a hose/pipe that goes into the engine block just behind and below the oil filler cap has burst.... what is this pipe? and would this account for the petrol smell that has just appeared in the cabin a few days ago?
also does anyone know if its covered under warranty(car is 57 reg) and any one know a part number for the hose and clips that hold it in place.

oh that remind me, the electric mirrors dont work either, could it be a fuse?

Take it in to the dealer and show it to them. Don't wait

p.s. Its breather pipe & and is NOT covered in 3rd year of warranty.

If it's a 57 reg car it should still be within the 2nd year of warranty, in which case it should be covered under warranty.
