Oh and also, if anyone has either of these lights, can u tell me if they allow the dipped and main beam lights to show at the same time?

The H4 lights on the standards annoy me because on country roads the dipped lights the road well, but you cant see that far ahead. And the main lights the scenery and sides of the road well but not the road ahead. You just cant have both :bang:
This is another reason why I would like a set of lights other than the Abarth to have separate dipped and main bulbs.

I think they day running LEDs look cack on audis and cack on everything else. You cant make an LED look quality they just look tat.

If the quality and the price were the same between LED or standard Halogen light units, i'd choose LED. They last almost forever, Dont dim or change colour with age, light up instantly (better for brake lights) and properly designed can provide better and more uniform light output. Sounds good to me (y)

I agree with all that but think on the front of the car a strip of leds just looks cheap. If audi made it one long led it would look quality. But lots off little leds just look like christmas tree lights.

But I like christmas trees :p

Seriously, audi could put them behind a good diffuser/lens combo which would make a uniform strip. The problem with this is it removes the directionality of the LED lights, making them dimmer when viewed from directly in front. Im sure it could be made right. I do perfer when its more smaller LED's to give the appearance of a line rather than individual spots but either way i still like they way they look.

well i just observed more careful the photos from the healights which are common to my comment and vimto's. they are not the same lights. they are the angel eyes with a strip of led attached to it. the only real photo is the night one.look carefully and you will notice that the strip sits below the headlight. anyway dectane is charging me 349 euros. too expensive.

i am not so keen on buying from ebay. becides ,ebay wants to charge my credit card but i only buy spot cash!

Fair enough, i would get the abarth ones or the series 2 lights instead. They feel more qualitative tbw than the angel eyes and the ones you found.

yes definitely. i found a video on youtube ,there is a lad that fitted a hid projector into stock headlights and also adaptive lights.

I've been looking into theese lights for a while now, basically i really want angel eyes, but with the audi/porche led strip under the lights, but still with the *halo's* (angel eyes) and the posibility of fitting some sort of 6000k or 8000k bulb, would it take the H4 and 501 like the stock lights? or do they run a different bulb?

Thanks

Hi, does anyone know who makes a 3rd brake light in either Clear LED or Tinted LED?

If so, where can I buy one of these, as I have just installed Lexus Lights which are Black Clear ones and I want to change the 3rd brake light but nobody seems to do it?
