Unfortunately I cant go for the ones I really want! I'm on a budget and these fall in the price range I have, the joys of becoming a student :)

your lucky you got a car then

I've had the car for 2 1/2 years when I was working full time, was made redundant and now @ college to re train............ I have set up a budget for everything if I really wanted to I could spend the money on the alloys that I really wanted but I'm not willing to spend over a grand on alloys and tyres! I have standard steelies on and decided it was time to go for alloys........... I did ask for which one out of the 4 not what alloys do you think I should get out of the thousands out there. I didnt come on to discuss my finances, I wouldnt comment on your finances, so dont comment on mine......you know what forget I even asked....... I'm sure between me and hubby we'll eventually agree.

......ouch !

dont worry about it. probably that time of the month

Slightly sexiest! Not my time of month and dont appreciate the remark either. Maybe I did go over board but all I asked was for ppl to pick out of the 4 alloys I had posted. I'm lucky enough to have a hubby in a good job, savings from my last job and redundancy pay burning a hole in my pocket and I also received money from my grandmother when she past away 3 months ago, hence why I can go back to college.......... rather do that than sit on the dole for the next few months.

Both hot dog and jibbon agree with each other I should get other alloys

For someone not wanting to discuss their finances you're not going the right way about it. I did suggest other wheels, just giving my opinion though.

And I appreciate it but I want one of the lot that I picked and put photo's up of and I'm not saying you shouldnt have told me to go for others....... he asked so I told him who had said it. And your right about discussing my finances but either way I'm going to be stereotyped into being either poor or a woman lol

Whenever I'm chosing a wheel rim,I look at whether the spokes stick out further than the rim,if they do,I discount them straight away,I look for a rim where the spokes are set back, the best examples of these type of designs are BMW almost all of their designs have the spokes set back plus the tyres have kerbing lips on them to reduce the chance of "kerbing". The spokes on mine are set back and I have virtually no kerbing and I teach people in mine.
