i have a 2008 t jet, and had a small knock on the passenger wing. now on the info screen it reads "fuel cut-off" and the car wont start. does any1 knw where the switch is so i can reset it

right hand side drivers footwell
open the door wide bend down, on the plastic trim on the accelerator side there is a gap between the dashboard and the lower trim slide your hand in the gap there is a rubber tit in the hole on the lower trim press that down

tried that cos i had a 2006 and it was there. but now on this new t-jet model its not there. i even took off the plastics in the footwell...the rubber tit insnt there...fiat told me i need to book it in and pay 120. jus for a reset....which jus takes 10 mins and i fint that unresonable....im sure its in the cockpit some where

look round the drivers door pillar (between the front and back immsmc on some fiats its hidden there
might sound obvious but have you checked the manual?

apparently theres no switch and needs to bee done on a pc....put my car isnt startin cos of it and fiat are charging an arm and a leg.....some 1 said i need to change to fuel relay first.....i called n a specialist yesterday and he connected his device and read and reset the faults but the fualts came up but then said they cant be deleted...im STUCKKKK!!!!
