ok, first off, the reason that 4extreme is probably pricy, is because they probably sell quality exhausts, and not halfords style exhausts! you pay for what you get.

So why does he happen to think it's had all this nonsensical work and an MOT which isnt due for a couple of years? I think it's just his dream car and saying it was his dad's was a quick way out when asked about it, and now more and more untruths are being spoken.

I just think he has no knowledge about cars and said MOT because he thinks that if your car has one of those then it makes everything alright.

I really don't mean to speculate upon whether he's telling the truth, it just sounds very "made-up" to me.

On a different note and slightly off topic, it came to my attention that I cannot take my Grande to uni next year due to a lack of residential parking in central London. Bad times.
