Like teh title suggests every now and then my mileage will randomly flash and then 10 mins later it doesn't flash for another random amount of days and then it does it again...

Anyone had this problem and maybe knows why this happens?

likely CAN, convergence or voltage fault.

Happens a fair bit on mine. It will flash repeatedly when your cars due a service. Eg at 18,000 and 36,000. It's annoying i know, but Fiat told me theres no way of stopping it! Hope this helps?

the garage (not Fiat) told you this, and they are wrong.

I have done a good search and seen there are other posts...sorry for the un needed post...I'll check them out, thanks...

I rang up the garage and they gave me a number for FIAT UK. So in a way it was Fiat i guess.

this flashing of the milag has happened to every GP i have owned, til i got my new one it never happened was made up that i had a car that didnt flash at me till yesterday

Mine flashed a couple of times as it rolled over to 24,000 miles. Hasnt done it since.

I assume you mean customer care/relations, you certainly would not of spoke to anyone from technical.

Wiring,CAN wiring,node,connection,software,voltage....its one of these thats producing this fault.

mine just started flashing at 1750 miles so no where near a service.... i thought it was weird. hope nothing is wrong
