I have a 2008 1.3 Multijet, with the usual trouser browning throttle lag and turbo lag. I've had a lot of turbo's over the years, but to me this lag feels different. I'm starting to have a suspicion that the "lag" is actually programmed into the fly by wire system to stop wheel spin in slippery conditions, sort of like a bargain basement traction control, as it happens even when I'm in the turbo rev range. Any thoughts on this?
