Subject to everything going smoothly I'll soon be the proud owner of a 08 1.4 Eleganza. Can't wait for the summer when the Climate Control will be fantastic, no more sweating it out in my 1.2 Active

Anything I should particularly look out for?
I've already got on the list:
Check service book for recalls (edit: don't think there are any for the vin)
Check spare wheel tools are all there
Check locking wheel nuts match the car
Check paintwork has been tidied up as agreed
Check bonnet catch has been sorted (was very very stiff)
Test parking sensors, mp3 playback, lumber support, back door handles from inside and window operation

If its got fogs check for condensation....... another common one to haunt the sporting owner!

there is also a recall for the climate control unit, ull have to search that one! But climate is good all year round even more so in the winter i would argue with the front windowscreen demister, plus it looks much cooler  than the horrid twist jobbies

Just been out to check a few things over. Noticed the registration plates don't have the British Standard markings on them (BS AU 145d). They do have the company name and postcode. Is this legal or should I request new plates?

thats a bit nit-picky, if they have company name and postcode on them they are fine- i have neither on mine
