Huh ?!?! Ooh  Don't Have A Clue What Big-End Shells Are

Read as "Expensive engine re-build..." You see, this is why you need to know a bit about engines and transmission, to have sympathy and empathy, helps you know what risks you are taking in order to mitigate them.

That comes with time and experience, helped along by helpful comment and support from us friendly Fiat Forum folks... Bit late on this occasion tho TBH...

Got Someone Coming Round To Try And Get My Mis-Sold PPI Back So That Will Help If I Get The £2000 Back .. Plus Money From The Scar On My Face Because I Slipped On A Wet Floor, Looks Like A Big Chink Of Money Is Already Spoken For :bang: Stupid Me Lol.

I'll Let You All Know Tomorrow How It Goes On :D Thanks For All The Info.

Don't be so stupid. It was on a rolling road. I managed 150 on the A11 in a Rover 220 Turbo the night my dad died & it would have terrified me had I not been pissed. At 150 the roundabouts come within seconds - not minutes. This guy is a troll - & not very good at it either.

Note the "headlights On" in the video...... Rolling road. There is nowhere in the UK you can wind such a slow car up to 140 & keep it there for over 3 minutes. He's taking the ****!

Why Would The Headlights Be On, On A Rolling Road ??

I Was Going Round The Motorway Bends At Them Speeds .. 140 Isn't Exactly Fast

Agreed, I've only strayed up to about 110mph accidentally when overtaking but it gets there pretty quick, hence how I've done it "accidentally". Certainly faster than my old Audi 1.8t or Alfa 145 Cloverleaf which were both in the older generation hot hatch territory. 140mph is nothing special nowadays and I can't see how it would be hard to get to that on a quiet motorway in the early hours if you had the inclination to do so.

Thankyou Jimrod ..

.. Plus At 29 Seconds You See The Motorway Lights On The Speedo Needle Like Someone Already Pointed Out To Me.

I Am Amazed At How Fast It Is Myself.

this threads hilarious :D

the video is fine IMO, doesnt show he is doing anything wrong, and if he wants to drive his car like that on track/airfield thats his choice, grab a scrappy turbo or somthing if it needs replacing, it only sounds like the seals have blown (y)

none the less, dont expect to not be flamed/caught out for telling porkies!

good luck getting it fixed (y)

Actually, when you look at other cars with similar 16 sec 0-100 times -

http://www.torquestats.com/index.php?pid=mph100

There is some pretty serious machinery there, the gearing of the Punto will limit Remapped ones slightly - And I bet none can come close for economy!!

Actually the GPS Remapped must be a good contender for most economical sub 6-second 0-60mph car out there! ;)
