Mines been in for plenty of stuff and they havent said a thing. They ant pick the map up on there examiner and only likely to void it if they do find it and having the map has had a direct effect on the failed component. Yes red dot will removed the map for free.

Cheers pal!

Now to get the knocking noise sorted from the front left and the knocking when turning my wheels.... :bang:

:yeahthat: I agree that the ST would have me in a corner, but as Jimrod says, my "real life driving" is dual carriageways, A roads and motorways. Its dependant on the user I guess.....

Fair comment....Good fun using the mid range on the motorways... only up to 70mph of course! :D Had my 30-70 timed recently with a GPS thingy at 6.8 seconds, which I was well chuffed with... down from around 9 seconds standard...whooooooosshhh!

I'm just glad I live in rural shropshire, where the country lanes add to the entertainment... :)

not being funny mate, i have owend a Feza ST in my t-jet round corners and in a straight line, and it had breathing mods similair to mine.

I dont understand where everyone gets the idea that the Fiesta ST is an amazing car. for what it is, it is underpowered.

The GP chassis is just as well balanced and designed as the ST. But standard the Gp is not as sturdy.

Just to add, done one on track also.

partially agree with this, but its the steering that seems to be perfectly weighted in the ST that fools you into thinking it handles better- benefits of a hydraulic system over an electric system. Although the new Fiesta now uses an electric system

Is this is directed at me? I don't remember saying anything good about an ST, just said it would **** on an Mjet round the twisties.

I think you should remember we are discussing Mjets not Tjets... There is another 100kg of metal at the front end of an Mjet, the car drives very nose heavy. Although remapped it would still eat a Tjet naye bother in any driving situation. :)

Kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (y)

Aye, drive it like a Porsche, slow in - fast out and you'll beat most if the straights are any decent length. It's fine on twisty stretches as there is plenty of grip from the 205's - It's only when you get to the 90 degree turns you have to hammer the brakes!

When was the last time you went in a porsche? Last time i was in ours it was fast everywhere

:D Quite a while back in the days when 911's weren't the civilised machines they are now, never got to have a go in the super-flared turbo though :D

What point are you making?

I have owned several hot hatches and most had less power than my remapped GPS, but believe me they would blow it away on a track or in the real world for that matter... The GPS is not a Hot hatch even when tuned up to the maximum!

You might have 200bhp+ out of a GPS but for overall performance it will get laughed at by much less powerful cars....

Puntokris had god knows how much power and he was chuffed keeping up with a Fiesta Zetec S...lol....

If you enjoy driving really fast in straight lines...carry on ;)

Haven't been back to this section in a while, nothings changed.

For the record my ST was running 174bhp and the GP beat it top end and on rolling torque. The ST wasted it in the corners and had the edge 0-60 (gearing reasons). Standard STs suck cock in a staight line.

Anyway I've got a civic type-r now and it goes better in a straight line than the GP and better in corners than the ST :p

Got the ep3 (best shape ;)). Yep its a brilliant car with everything you need and nothing more. VTEC is awesome and the AEM I recently installed sounds gorgeous on cam. Its also actually quite economical when you drive sensibly.
