Hi all

On my 07 GP, i have noticed that when i am turning at VERY low speeds i hear a creaking noise coming from the steering wheel. It is quite loud and noticeable. However if i am driving at anything other than slow speed, ie going round a round about in 2nd its perfectly quiet.

Anyone any ideas on what this could be??

Hi, I have the same problem, this only happens about an hour of driving, if you move the steering wheel very slowly you should hear the creaking noise, i took mine back to dealer 3 times, and they said nothing wrong with the steering, i told them to drive it for an hour, and now they have said it needs a new power steering shaft. take it back to dealer.

I had a similar problem, it turned out to be top strut bearings

I had my top strut bearings changed too, creaking noise continued.
