1. Dash air vent broke
2. A number of errors, flashing Mileage indicator ( constantly )
3. Bottom of driver seat loosened while driving and i went flying forward
4. Back rest moving aswell, feels loose
5. Rattle in the engine (Sounds like metal hitting metal) when starting
6. Rocker cover gasket leaking oil * 3 times
7. Air out take from engine coroded and leaking fumes into the cabin.
8. Rear Suspension Creekin and rattaling
9. ECU Had to be replaced
10. Rear Door Handles very hard to open
11. Pedals Loosened

Many (the highlighted)are unresolved and the mechanic when told of the latest problems responded

"For **** Sake, You better bring the ****ing thing in next week, ill ring you monday"

and hung up. Still Havnt Heard anything from him. Has anyone got any advice on how to proceed. ive already had to contact FIAT IRELAND about the lack of reliability of the car to get them to work on the car. by the way ive only had this car 5 months!!!!!!!

is the car under warrenty?

take it to the dealer to have it resolved and if any more of the abusive language from them write a letter to fiat direct.

Ye its still under warranty, its just they seem to have no time for me. the car has consistantly been having problems. everytime i get it back off the garage a few days later either the same problem ocurs or a new one. the car seems to be jinxed. im fed up with the car. i love it but its just so unreliable :bang:

record the phone conversations aswell chap , might come in handy you never know , bartering tool lol well hope u get them all sorted

keep on at them, if its the garage you bought the car from then they should be looking at it.

next time it goes in ask for a record of works done, dont be afraid to ask questions and talk back to them.
how long do they keep the car for?

if your young maybe take a parent along with you, that might do the trick.

maybe somebody will offer some more advice for you, but keep on at them!!

your be better of phoning customer services, they can help you more than anyone here can.

they generally keep it for a day but the last time he kept it for a week and drove it himself and noticed other problems that he never said, he just said i found some other things and fixed them for you. i rang customer services last time and thats why they kept it for the week coz they were being badjered by them to fix the problems. only they seemed to be fixed but only for a short timeand now the makority of them are back. im afraid to ring cust services again in case it really affects the work they do to the car. i was driving it tonight and the car cut out me driving at 80kmh lucky there was no one behind me lost complete control. it would start after that for about 5 mins.

thats the whole point! A case is opened a each party (customer services, garage & yourself) are kept up to date with progress on the car.
