Technical car isnt starting right

hi problem is still present so not the fuse box car will not start
my wife told me what lights were on 1st time round when i rang dealer, last week.
they decided it was the fuse box. sat in car looking my self yeasterday and it appears
the fiat security lock code is on with the engine sign. when there paired together the car will not start. after 300 turns or as little as 5 it might ? start.
once the car has decided its the right key or code/ or what ever the dam things wrong with it, it will start up straight away again for the next hour ?
leave it several hours and were back to the fiat code again.
i cannot say that these lights were on b4 the car went to dealer buts its the same pattern and problem so they pronably was.

has anyone got any idea?
its upsetting the wife now alittle now.

Have you contacted Fiat UK to ask to talk to someone higher up and see if they can send a tech out that is still employed by them but independant from the garage?

no i didnt know this was poss m8
i feel if i go the garage im going to be ripped of bro because i claimed my examiner fee and rang fiat care up and was told it should of been reinbursted.
the garage was flabagasted i rang fiat uk i even had details of there claim ref no
wasnt trying to cause trouble but felt if a valid claim is valid i shouldnt be paying for examiner or fault finding under a 3rd year warrenty.
so if i take it back to dealer i feel ill be hit and hit hard.
ill try that what you say.

I would give it a bash mate. At least you can report the garage to Fiat if you feel they havent really been that helpful as that is what Fiat are after atm trying to clean up there dealer image. They will probably put you through to an advisor and then you will be able to explain your problem to him and im guessing they will suggest something :)

they say take it back basically and tell them exactly what i told him about the warning lights that show up he also stated its a ignition/imobilier locking up issue.
now i have looked, i can predict if the car will start or not just based on 1 turn ignition.
just been out to it typical it started after 3 hours stood still.
rang insurance company and we are covered for curtiosy cars.

also treble checked that this fault is covered by fiat care imobiliser/key barrell keycode/coil/ ecu ect intermittetent none start issue,s all this electrical stuff is covered.
bloody car when they go wrong they go wrong dont they.

2+ years ago wife bought a 3rd hand nisson micra 38,000 miles on clock ran it 7 years never a problem only the usual mot issue.
these new cars with all the gadgets cause more probs that they solve imo
keep you posted....

nope car back down at dealer again.
with full exsplanation of fault and both keys.
see what happens now.
this is the last time its going back there if it breaks again within 1 day of being fixed.
geez good job its under warrenty, wonder how much we would be talking if it wasnt.
gonna get it fixed at get rid get 1 with 5/7 years on it were talking about.

well picked car up today and apparently the car has behaved it started up from cold all the time, and no steering assist light is on hmmmm
so anyway exchanged curtoisy car for ours and i swear 1 min out of garage.forecourt
we had no front indicators side and rears worked fine but both fronts were out
now call me stupid but are not all the intermittent faults more than likely from the same cause ?
the electronics ? the micro chip/computor if you will

1:car wont start straight away from cold the fiat system code lock comes on
2:the steering assist light comes on and off when it feels like it
3:now the front (and only front) indicator lights wont work , apparently they arnt fused either, and the bulb got changed infront of me, mechanic said they didnt look blown anyway.

at least the radio still works
has anyone got any idea ?
by the way left it with them AGAIN.

since last post mechanic has seen the steering assist light on and rang fiat tech up and they have advised him to change car battery over, they had it on the examiner and they state the battery isnt holding voltage which may exsplain why it dosnt start from cold.
failing this its the main computer.
they have checked earth wires too
fingers crossed.

since last post the problem hasnt gone away infact it has got worse.
sat in car tried 40 times to start the mother, it failed to startwith the keylock and engine light on, also car locked us in once weired (wonder if its a anti theft thing)
anyway it wasnt the battery they recently fitted so wasted money imo.
they say they are 99.9% sure its the ecu and not the body computer
when they pushed the car into the garage because it wouldnt start they dropped it on the examiner and spotted the fault and requested some info from it and it failed to deliver somthing along them lines.
does the ecu send keycodes if so thats what he said.
also there having to wait for the ecu to be delivered from italy omg wtf ?
assuming its the ecu and it gets fixed anyone wanny buy a fiat lol wife thinks the car is possesed and wants a new one with 3 years warrenty or more.
i think shes settled on a new ford fiesta.
will keep you posted.
